The greatest difference between an online
class and a regular class is the comfy couch you get
to rest on at odd hours of the day and night. Online
classes offer the same amount of instruction as a regular
class but instead of being locked into a specific day
and time, with an online class you are able to learn
at a time and place that is most comfortable for you.

engage in. There is a syllabus and a week-by-week breakdown
of what information will be covered and when. You have
the ability to read ahead and finish assignments early
if you feel as though your upcoming week may be hectic

the class. There are assigned readings, assignments
and quizzes just like in a regular class setting. Class
participation is handled by posting forums that are
open to the students and instructors. The forums are
not in real time, meaning that you can log in and post
comments at any time of the day or night. Posting comments
on these forums is easier than sending emails. There
is no need to shy away if you do not consider yourself
web savvy, after a couple of days the whole experience
becomes second nature and will fit neatly into your
daily routine.
