Also, you'll take only one specialization from either the M.P.A. or the M.S.P.H. program. You can earn both degrees with a total of 90 credit hours, rather than the 118 credit hours required to complete both programs separately.

If you are accepted by both programs, you can complete the M.P.A. and the M.S.P.H. degrees by taking all of the core courses and required capstone courses in both programs, with either MMPA 6130 Applied Research or PUBH 6430 Social and Behavioral Research Methods. Also, you'll take only one specialization from either the M.P.A. or the M.S.P.H. program. You can earn both degrees with a total of 86 credit hours, rather than the 106 credit hours required to complete both programs separately.

Master of Public Health - Specialization in Community Health

Walden University's Master of Public Health with a Specialization in Community Health is designed to provide understanding of public health issues that are impacted by local, regional, national, and global considerations.
