If accepted by both programs, a student may complete both the M.B.A. and the M.P.A. degrees by taking all core courses and the required Capstone courses in both programs. There are two exceptions. Students may complete MMBA 6120 Business Statistics or MMPA 6130 Applied Research. In addition, students may take either MMBA 6105 Organizational Behavior or MMPA 6110 Organizational Theory/Behavior. Also only one specialization is required for the two degrees. This option allows you to earn both degrees with a total of 92 credit hours rather than the 116 hours required to complete both programs separately.

If you are accepted by both programs, you can complete the M.P.A. and the M.S.P.H. degrees by taking all of the core courses and required capstone courses in both programs, with either MMPA 6130 Applied Research or PUBH 6430 Social and Behavioral Research Methods. Also, you'll take only one specialization from either the M.P.A. or the M.S.P.H. program. You can earn both degrees with a total of 86 credit hours, rather than the 106 credit hours required to complete both programs separately.
